Case between Canara Bank vs Muhammed Riyas.K.K. regarding loan recovery

In the result, the suit is decreed as follows: I. The defendant is hereby directed to pay the plaintiff bank an amount of Rs.2,99,138/- (Rupees two lakh ninety nine thousand one hundred and thirty eight only) with 10.05% interest per annum on the principle sum of Rs. 2,95,357/- from the date of suit till the date of realization II. The defendant is hereby directed to pay the plaintiff bank an amount of Rs.5,85,410/- (Rupees five lakh eighty five thousand four hundred and ten only) with 10.05% interest per annum on the principle sum of Rs. 5,78,583/- from the date of suit till the date of realization III. The defendant shall pay the costs of the suit to the plaintiff.
